Twenty Eight

Awakening today
my thoughts in the past.
Reliving the years
all passing too fast.

Asking the questions
the answers I know.
What happened to time,
where did it go?

From a blue eyed baby
to a man full grown.
Childhood and adolescence
are but moments on loan.

So now looking back
to these memories on file.
This Father is blessed
with a tear and a smile.
